On 25 October 2018, the national telecom operator Vega reviewed its financial performance for the first nine months of 2018. The company’s revenue made UAH 469 million, up by 4% year on year. EBITDA amounted to UAH 127 million, up by 43% from last year.
The company is further developing its business by meeting challenges faced by the sector and showing a step-by-step increase in financial indicators. Vega also continues to demonstrate growth in revenues from services provided through fiber-optic channels and from IP services.
The income in the company’s key business sector also keeps growing.
Investment for the first nine months of 2018 reached UAH 60 million. This helps to overhaul the infrastructure, increase the share of high-speed fiber-optic telecommunications, introduce and develop services and bring new products to the market.
Today Vega provides its customers and partners with integrated solutions. This year, the company has offered to its business clients one of the best IP-PBX services in the market. Individual users can enjoy the access to packages that include the Internet, the best TV channels and fixed-line and mobile calls.
Vega is focused on the value of the offered products, and thus it increased ARPU (average revenue per user) by 18.4% over the first nine months of 2018. Such changes are driven by the growth of corporate share of the subscriber base and the increasing popularity of highly profitable products.
The base of business customers using IP telephony systems went up by 21% year on year, which corresponds to the global trends in market migration to IP.
Vega paid UAH 104 million in taxes and duties to all budgets, up by 20% year on year.
