Lemtrans takes wagons on lease


As part of its investment programme Lemtrans is going to increase the rolling stock fleet by 110 new open cars of Ukrainian origin. The company has decided to enter into a financial leasing agreement with Privatbank for the term of five years. The total transaction amount is over UAH 130 million.

The CEO of Lemtrans Volodymyr Mezentsev stated: "We are happy to strike a deal with Privatbank. This project will help Lemtrans improve the efficiency of its rolling stock fleet and meet the needs of the clients that have SLA-agreements with us.We always seek for the options to purchase wagons based on the analysis of the market situation".

In 2018, Lemtrans has increased its rolling stock fleet by 327 wagons in total.

The CEO of the Eastern Branch of Privatbank Eduard Mizin noted: "In November 2018, the bank concluded an agreement to provide funds for the purchase of 110 new open cars for Ukraine’s biggest freight forwarding company Lemtrans.Privatbank offers credit programmes both for small businesses and large Ukrainian companies such as Lemtrans. Since early 2018 the bank has issued over UAH 580 million in credit facilities to the companies of the eastern region of Ukraine."
