Head of Corum Group Mykhailo Potapov and President of Czech investment company Alta Vladimír Plašil have signed the Memorandum of Long-Term Cooperation at an online meeting.
The company is going to use the European investments to upgrade its production facilities and improve its assets performance. Modernisation programme has been jointly developed by Corum and KPMG consulting company. Also, Corum and Alta will join efforts in financing the sales and supplies of parts from Europe to Ukraine.

This shows that Ukrainian heavy engineering sector draws the attention of the world and we are trusted as the industry leader," says Acting CEO of Corum Group Mykhailo Potapov. "By working together, we will enhance the equipment base of our plants and make Corum's products more competitive both in the Ukrainian and the European markets."
Corum Group is a part of the power-generating business DTEK Energy. Corum Group is the biggest producer of mining equipment in Ukraine.
Corum Group operates DTEK Energy's heavy engineering assets: plants in Kharkiv, Druzhkivka and Kamensk-Shakhtinsky, Corum Shakhtspetsstroy, Corum Source and Corum Repair service and maintenance companies, as well as trading companies and representative offices abroad. Key clients include 14 largest mining groups owning 150 mines and open-pit quarries. Corum's equipment is used by mining companies in 15 countries.
